Otago Catlins

The Owaka- Tahakopa Catchment Group covers all the catchments to the sea in the Otago Catlins including the Owaka, Catlins and Tahakopa rivers, covering an area of 95,844 hectares.

There is regular water sampling in the Owaka River and in Tucks stream. 

A current focus of this catchment group is the establishment of a possum programme.
